Each correct character turns green and advances the cursor; a wrong key plays a buzzer, ticks up the error count, and leaves the highlighted character in place until you hit it right, so you cannot race past mistakes. Your words per minute and accuracy update live in the header alongside the countdown and running error total. When time expires you get a results card showing final WPM, accuracy percentage, total correct characters, and total errors, and a new personal-best WPM is saved in your browser.
