## About Tactics Lite

A compact army-clash game on a 6x6 board, played as blue (you) against a red AI. Each side gets the same nine pieces, dealt at random onto its back two rows — a Flag, a Bomb, two Scouts, three Soldiers, a Captain, and a General. The AI's pieces stay face down as '?' until they fight. Hunt down and capture the enemy Flag, or whittle its army away one combat at a time, while keeping your own Flag safe.

## How to Play Tactics Lite

Both armies are dealt onto their back two rows automatically — your nine blue pieces are shown to you, the AI's nine are hidden as '?'. On your turn, move one piece: most pieces step one square horizontally or vertically, while Scouts can slide any number of empty squares in a straight line. Moving onto an enemy piece starts a fight: the higher rank wins, equal ranks remove both, and a Bomb destroys any attacker except a Scout, which defuses it. Capture the enemy Flag to win.

## Controls

Click a piece to select, click a destination to move or attack. On mobile, tap to select and tap to act.

## Tactics Lite Tips & Strategies

1. Your pieces start in a random layout each game, so read the board fresh and lead with pieces you can afford to lose.
2. Use Scouts to probe across the board and reveal the AI's hidden pieces — they also defuse Bombs.
3. Keep your General and Captain in reserve until you have learned where the enemy's strong pieces are.
