## About Soccer Penalty Shootout

Two taps stand between you and the back of the net. A cursor sweeps left to right across the goalmouth — tap to freeze your aim, then tap a second time to lock an oscillating power meter, and the ball curls toward the spot you picked. The keeper lunges for a random corner every time, so it really is your placement against the dice. Bank goals to climb the rounds; miss five and it's over.

## How to Play Soccer Penalty Shootout

A cursor sweeps across the goal — tap to lock your horizontal aim. A power meter then oscillates from low to high; tap again to set it and strike. The ball scores unless the keeper, who dives to a random spot, is within reach when it arrives. Every goal is worth 100 points plus 50 per round, and the round number ticks up for every 5th goal you score, which speeds the keeper up. Five total misses ends the game.

## Controls

Tap to lock horizontal aim from the sweeping cursor, then tap again to lock power from the meter. P to pause.

## Soccer Penalty Shootout Tips & Strategies

1. The keeper dives to a random corner each kick, so aim wide rather than trying to read it — there's nothing to read.
2. Higher rounds shrink the keeper's reach but quicken its dive, so commit to a corner and trust your placement.
3. Lock the power meter in the green low-to-mid band for a cleaner, more controllable strike.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How do rounds and the ending work?

The round number increases for every 5th goal you score, which raises the keeper's dive speed. There is no fixed number of rounds — play continues until you reach 5 total misses.

### Can the keeper read my shot?

No. The keeper picks a random horizontal target the moment the ball is struck, so beating it is about placement and a bit of luck, not out-thinking an AI.
