About Rocket Builder
Assemble a rocket in five quick steps, then watch it fight gravity for every meter of altitude. You pick a nose cone (pointed, rounded, or flat), one of six body colors, a fin size (small, medium, or large), an engine (basic, standard, or powerful), and a window style (round, square, or none) — a tap-to-select builder with 20 options in total. Your choices change the physics: the powerful engine produces 500 thrust but burns fuel fastest, while large fins cut drag the most for a smoother, higher climb. Launch is automatic — the rocket lifts off the moment the build is finished, and the on-screen HUD tracks current altitude, max altitude, and a fuel bar in real time. When fuel runs low, tap or click the screen to top it up by +5, stretching the climb a little further before the rocket falls back to the ground and the run ends. Every part is unlocked from the start, and your best altitude is saved locally so you always have a record to beat.

How to Play Rocket Builder
Work through five build steps, tapping one option in each: nose cone (pointed, rounded, or flat), body color (six preset swatches), fins (small, medium, or large), engine (basic, standard, or powerful), and window (round, square, or none). A live preview updates as you choose. Press Next after each step; on the last step press Launch! and the rocket takes off on its own. As it climbs, the engine drains fuel — tap or click the screen to refuel by +5 and squeeze out more height. The run ends when the fuel runs out and the rocket falls back to the ground, scoring your maximum altitude in meters.
Controls
Tap an option button to choose each part, then press Next to move through the five build steps. On the final step the button reads Launch! and liftoff begins automatically. During flight, tap or click anywhere on the screen to add +5 fuel and keep the engine burning. Press Esc or P to pause.
Tips & Strategies
- The powerful engine gives the most thrust (500) but burns fuel fastest, so plan to refuel often during the climb.
- Large fins set the lowest drag (0.3), keeping the rocket faster and higher than small fins (0.7).
- Tap or click steadily once you launch — each tap adds +5 fuel and keeps the engine firing longer.
- Don't let the fuel bar hit zero too early; gravity takes over and the rocket starts falling back down.
- Chase your saved best-altitude record — it's stored on your device between sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many parts can I choose from?
There are five build steps with 20 options in total: three nose cones (pointed, rounded, flat), six body colors, three fin sizes (small, medium, large), three engines (basic, standard, powerful), and three window styles (round, square, none). Every option is available from the start — nothing is locked or earned.
How does the engine and fin choice affect flight?
The engine sets your thrust and fuel burn — powerful is 500 thrust, standard 380, basic 280, with the stronger engines using fuel faster. Fins set drag: large fins give the lowest drag (0.3) for higher climbs, medium 0.5, and small 0.7.
What does tapping during the flight do?
Once the rocket launches it flies on its own. Tapping or clicking the screen adds +5 fuel (up to a full tank), letting you keep the engine running longer for a higher peak altitude. When the fuel is gone, gravity pulls the rocket back down and the run ends.
How is my score calculated?
Your score is the maximum altitude in meters that the rocket reaches before it returns to the ground. Your best run is saved locally, so you can keep trying to beat your personal record.
