About Robot Run

Your robot never stops running, so timing is everything in this single-lane 2D side-scroller. Tap or press Space to jump, with a second press giving you a double jump (up to two airborne jumps), and hold the right inputs to slide low under hazards. Five obstacle types stand in your way: a short wall, a tall wall, a low laser, a high laser, and a gap in the floor that drops you to your death if you fall too far. On demand you can pop a brief shield that lasts about a second and destroys one obstacle on contact. Two pickups appear at random: a magnet that pulls in nearby coins for a few seconds and an invulnerability boost that also smashes through obstacles. Coins are worth five points each and your score climbs with distance, so the further you run the higher you climb. Speed starts moderate and ramps up the longer you survive, all the way to a hard cap, and your best distance is saved on your device.

How to Play Robot Run

Your robot runs forward automatically and speeds up as you cover ground (from a starting speed up to a cap of 14). Jump over walls and gaps, slide under high lasers, and use your on-demand shield to punch through one obstacle in a pinch. Grab coins for 5 points apiece and watch for two random pickups: a magnet that pulls coins toward you and an invulnerability boost that smashes obstacles. The run ends when you hit an obstacle or fall into a gap. Your score is your distance divided by ten plus coin bonuses, and your best is stored locally to beat next time.

Press Up arrow, W, or Space to jump (press again for a double jump). Press Down arrow or S to slide. Press Shift or F to trigger your shield, which destroys one obstacle.
