Every turn ends with an enemy attack whose strength rises over time, so you balance spending against defense; claiming your 20th tile wins, while losing all territory or sinking past -500 gold ends the run.

## How to Play Resource Colony

Spend gold each turn on six actions: Train colonists (50g, +2 units), Build Gatherer (80g, more Minerals/Energy/Water income), Build Defense (60g), Build House (40g), Expand (+1 territory, 100g), and End Turn. Resources accrue automatically from your territory and Gatherer count — there is no per-deposit mining or processing. Ending a turn triggers an attack of strength 8 x turn plus a random bonus: match or beat it with defense to fend it off and earn gold, or lose territory and population. Reach 20 territory to win.
