## About Mine Empire

A turn-based empire game played on a hex map: you begin holding 3 of 20 territory hexes and 200 gold, and each turn you spend gold on actions then press END TURN to face a raid. Buy miners, gatherers, defenses and houses, or claim a new hex with Expand. Win by growing to all 20 territory hexes; lose if you hit turn 50, run out of territory, or fall below -500 gold. Iron, Coal and Gold counters tick up automatically each turn based on your territory and gatherers.

## How to Play Mine Empire

Each turn, spend gold on five actions: Train miners (50 gold, +2 units), Build Gatherer (80 gold), Build Defense (60 gold), Build House (40 gold, grows population), or Expand (100 gold, +1 territory). Then press END TURN. A raid hits with threat that scales with the turn number; if your defense (10 + 15 per defense building + 3 per unit) meets or beats it you hold and earn gold, otherwise you lose territory. Reach 20 territory hexes to win, before turn 50 runs out.

### How do raids work?

At the end of each turn a raid arrives with threat based on the turn number. If your defense (10 + 15 per defense building + 3 per unit) is at least the threat you defend and gain gold; otherwise you lose territory proportional to the damage.

### What do the Iron, Coal and Gold counters do?

They are resource tallies that accrue automatically each turn from your territory and gatherers. Gold is the currency you spend on actions; there is no separate ore-tier or trading system.
