A log spins in the centre of the screen and you have a fixed number of knives to throw. Click, tap, press Space, or press Up to launch the next knife; it flies straight up and sticks where it lands. If it touches a knife already in the log the run ends, so aim for the empty gaps. Each landed knife scores a point. The number of knives per level grows from six up to a cap of twelve, and the log spins faster as you advance, adding a slight speed wobble past level three. Every fifth round is a boss stage with eight knives, three pre-stuck knives, and three green apples on the log; hitting an apple scores five bonus points. Embed all your knives to move to the next level.
