About Cannon Blast

Fifteen artillery levels stand between you and the YOU WIN screen, each one a fresh terrain layout dotted with red bullseye target blocks. Every cannonball traces a gravity-bound parabolic arc, and where it strikes the ground it dents a crater into the hilly terrain. You aim either by moving the mouse or finger, which sets angle and power from the cursor position, or with the arrow keys (angle 0 to 90 degrees, power 3 to 15), then fire with a click, tap, or Space while a dashed trajectory preview helps you line up. Your shot budget tightens as you climb (max of 3 or 8 minus a third of the level), while the number of 30-pixel targets grows to a cap of five and tougher targets gain extra hit points (1 plus a fifth of the level), shown above them. From level 5 on, wind pushes the ball every frame, with an on-screen indicator showing direction with arrows and a strength number. Clearing all targets scores 100 times the level number per target plus 50 for each unused shot, and your best run is saved locally.

Your shots are limited, so be efficient, and from level 5 onward account for the wind shown by the on-screen indicator. Sturdier targets take more than one hit.
