## About Cannon Basketball

Adjust angle and power with the arrow keys, then fire a basketball across the screen and try to drop it through a moving hoop. ArrowUp and ArrowDown set the launch angle, ArrowLeft and ArrowRight set the power from 10 to 100, and a tap, click, or Space launches the shot along the dashed trajectory preview drawn while you aim. Every level is randomly generated and they run endlessly: the hoop drifts further to the right (up to a cap) and changes height each time.

Two obstacle types stand between you and the basket, up to one per level number (capped at six): gray solid walls that softly deflect the ball at 0.7 bounce and orange bouncy pads that fling it back at 1.5 bounce. The rim's left and right edges also deflect the ball on contact. You get 5 plus half the level number in shots; sink the basket to score 100 plus 50 per level, and run out of shots without scoring and it is game over. Your best score is saved locally.

## How to Play Cannon Basketball

Set the launch angle with ArrowUp and ArrowDown and the power with ArrowLeft and ArrowRight while watching the dashed trajectory preview. Press Space, click, or tap to fire the basketball toward the hoop. Sink it to clear the level and score 100 plus 50 per level. You have 5 plus half the level number in shots, and running out before scoring ends the game. Each level is randomly generated with the hoop moving further right and changing height.

## Controls

ArrowUp and ArrowDown set the angle, ArrowLeft and ArrowRight set the power (10 to 100). Press Space, click, or tap to fire. A dashed trajectory preview shows the shot's initial path.

## Cannon Basketball Tips & Strategies

1. Watch the dashed trajectory preview to set up your shot before firing.
2. Bank the ball off the gray walls (0.7 bounce) to reach a hoop you cannot hit directly.
3. Orange bouncy pads kick the ball back hard at 1.5 bounce, so use or avoid them deliberately.
4. Even the rim's left and right edges deflect the ball, so aim for clean entry from above.
5. Your shot budget is only 5 plus half the level, so dial in angle and power before launching.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How many levels are in Cannon Basketball?

Levels are randomly generated and endless. Each one moves the hoop further right (up to a cap) and changes its height, and adds up to one obstacle per level number, capped at six.

### What obstacles appear?

Two types: gray solid walls that deflect the ball softly (0.7 bounce) and orange bouncy pads that fling it back hard (1.5 bounce). There are no platforms, moving obstacles, or special crates.

### How do I aim and fire?

Aiming is keyboard-only: ArrowUp and ArrowDown change the angle and ArrowLeft and ArrowRight change the power. Space, a click, or a tap fires with the current settings.
