About Bug Blaster

A long segmented bug snakes down a 30x30 field packed with mushrooms, and your job is to shoot it apart before it reaches your blaster at the bottom. Hit a middle segment and the chain splits in two: each half becomes its own bug winding toward you, so the field gets busier the more you fire. Every segment you destroy is worth 10 points and drops a fresh mushroom where it died, and the mushrooms themselves take four hits to clear (1 point each) while redirecting the bug down a row whenever it bumps one or the screen edge. Two other pests keep you moving: a spider worth 600 points bounces around the lower rows and eats mushrooms it crosses, and a flea worth 200 points drops straight down - seeding new mushrooms as it falls - but only when fewer than three mushrooms remain near the bottom. Each level adds segments and speed, your blaster is confined to the bottom six rows, and you fire continuously on a short cooldown. You have three lives.

A multi-segmented bug enters from the top and winds down through a field of mushrooms, dropping a row and turning whenever it hits a mushroom or the screen edge. Your blaster lives in the bottom six rows and fires continuously on a short cooldown.
