Rack 'em up and run the table solo in this 8-ball pool game on a vertical six-pocket layout
What players will love
- Use the dashed aim line to line up the contact point before committing to power
- Vary your power with the percentage readout instead of always slamming the cue ball at full strength
- Bank shots off the cushions can reach balls you cannot pocket on a straight line
- Plan ahead for the 8-ball before you clear your last couple of group balls, since potting it early loses the game
- Soft, controlled shots leave the cue ball in better position than hard ones that scatter everything

About Billiards
Rack 'em up and run the table solo in this 8-ball pool game on a vertical six-pocket layout. You break a standard 15-ball rack and the first object ball you pocket sets your group: drop a low ball and you are on solids, drop a high one and you are on stripes. Clear all seven of your balls and then sink the 8-ball to win; pot the 8-ball too early, while you still have group balls on the table, and it is an instant loss. Aiming is point-and-shoot: a dashed guide line follows your cursor or finger from the cue ball, you drag backward to load up power shown as a percentage on a drawn cue stick, and release to strike. The physics are clean and believable, with friction gradually slowing the balls, cushions rebounding at reduced energy, and equal-mass collisions transferring momentum the way real balls do. You score 10 points for every object ball you pocket, and your best is saved. Scratch the cue ball and it simply respots so you can keep shooting; this is a relaxed solo practice table, not a match against an opponent.

How to Play Billiards
Aim with the dashed guide line, drag back from the cue ball to build power, and release to shoot. The first object ball you pocket assigns your group, solids or stripes, and from there you must clear all seven of your balls before legally sinking the 8-ball. Drop the 8-ball while you still have group balls left and you lose immediately. If you scratch by pocketing the cue ball, it respots and you carry on. You earn 10 points for each object ball you pocket.
Controls
Point the mouse or your finger to aim; a dashed line shows the shot direction from the cue ball. Drag backward to set power, shown as a percentage on the cue stick, then release to strike. Touch works the same way: drag to aim and pull back for power.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which pool variant is this?
It is solo 8-ball on a vertical six-pocket table. You break the rack, get assigned solids or stripes by your first pocketed ball, and win by clearing your group and then the 8-ball. There is no 9-ball mode and no opponent; it is a practice table for one.
What happens if I scratch the cue ball?
Pocketing the cue ball is a foul, but since you are playing solo it simply respots the cue ball so you can take your next shot. There is no ball-in-hand handed to an opponent.
How does scoring work?
You score 10 points for every object ball you sink, and your highest score is saved in your browser. Sinking the 8-ball before clearing your group ends the game as a loss.
